Spa Rituals & the Thermal Circuit

Fifty-five floors up, the spa follows an older clock — lunar rituals, a four-temperature circuit and a sky pool that turns Melbourne's weather into theatre.

Day passes A$95 · Rituals from A$240 · Residents have priority

Overview

Wellness at Altitude

The thermal circuit is the heart of it: eucalyptus steam, cedar sauna, cold plunge and a warm mineral pool — done in order, over ninety unhurried minutes, while the city moves slowly beneath the glass.

Treatments follow the lunar calendar our spa director swears by — restorative work in the waxing weeks, release work as it wanes. The menu is short because everything on it earns its place.

The Lunar Menu

Rituals rotate with the moon — warm-stone release in the waning weeks, restorative wraps as it waxes, and a full-moon bathing hour on the sky deck.

The Details

What Sets It Apart

Four Temperatures

Steam, sauna, plunge and mineral pool — the circuit sequence is prescribed, and it works because you follow it.

Lunar Rituals

Treatments timed to the moon's phase — a practice borrowed from bathhouses older than the hotel itself.

Sky Pool

A 25-metre edgeless pool reserved for residents — laps at dawn, quiet floating by night.

Eucalyptus Line

Our own botanical range — distilled in Victoria, blended for altitude air and dry winter skin.

The Process

A Ritual, Step by Step

Three quiet steps — the desk handles everything between them.

Step 01

Arrive Early

Come thirty minutes before your booking — the circuit begins the unwinding before any hands do.

Step 02

Follow the Order

Steam, sauna, plunge, pool — in sequence. Your therapist will explain why the order matters more than the duration.

Step 03

Rest Afterwards

The relaxation lounge keeps the last hour screen-free — tea, fruit and a view that finishes the work.

Questions

Before You Book

The three questions the desk hears most — answered plainly.

Day passes (A$95) open the thermal circuit and lounges to non-residents; treatments and the sky pool stay exclusive to hotel guests.

Swimwear only — robes, slippers, towels and amenities are provided. Phones stay in the locker; the spa floor is deliberately offline.

Yes — massage and recovery rituals travel to suites until 22:00, at a small in-suite premium. Villa guests may book the private spa floor outright.

Ritual slots are limited to keep the floor quiet — the spa desk holds the week's remaining times.
